Colder weather? Change your fishing tactics.
Winter is coming and the fish are showing signs of slowing down and feeding less throughout the day. We are still catching trout, redfish, and an occasional snook, but overall the cooler water temps have the fish feeding less aggressively right now. A slower approach with more finesse style lures will be employed to get our bites over the next few months. Speckled trout fishing is still pretty good. We are using small soft plastics to catch these fish on most days. Saltwater Assassin 4-inch sea shad are good lures to cast along the flats and mangroves covered shorelines of the 1000 islands area of Cocoa Beach. In deeper canals and dredge holes he 2 inch Assassin Crappie Dapper has been working very well. Both are worked relatively slowly to get the fish to strike.
Just book the trip as you normally would on our web sites reservations page and put BFS2021 as the coupon code and the discount will be automatically applied to the fishing excursion of your desire, and your conformation email will be sent to you.
