Weekly Forecast – January 30, 2023

By January 30, 2023February 17th, 2023No Comments

And just like that – the fishing is great again!

Warmer water temperatures have created a fantastic bite this week for anglers fishing in the lagoons and near-coastal waters.
We’ve seen eaters temps as high as 68 to 69-degrees in some areas.

This has the speckled trout, snook, black drum and redfish cruising these waters looking for something to eat.

Live shrimp seem to be the best bait for all of these species this week.

Small fingerling mullet, pilchards, and silver perch can also be effective live baits on the trout, snook, and redfish.

With this weeks high temperatures expected to stay in the upper 70 to lower 80 degree range anglers should be able to catch plenty of fish if they get out before the next cold front sweeps through.

If your looking to get out and have a fabulous time on the water give captain Justin or myself a call and we can fit you into our schedule this week.
