March Fishing 4-cast by Captain Jim Ross

It has been a crazy year so far with the extremely warm temperatures here in the Orlando, Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach areas.  This has the fish in a late spring pattern already.  Tarpon, big black drum, Shark, snook, and giant redfish are all cruising the near shore waters outside of Daytona and Cocoa Beach and the areas to the south around Sebastian are teaming with hard fighting jack Crevalle lately.  The tarpon in particular are a real surprise.  They usually show up in mid to late April or early may outside of Cocoa Beach but there has been a school of fish numbering close to 1000 out there already on some days.  I don’t think you have ot wait to book a tarpon trip for this summer.  Come on and lets go catch one right now.
