The cooler wintertime temperatures over recent weeks have us catching a great mixed bag of black Drum, Sheepshead, Pompano, bluefish, snook, redfish, speckled trout, ladyfish, spanish mackerel, tripletail and more! Live shrimp have been our top bait for all of these species. Depending on water temperatures, depths, and how aggressive the fish are on that particular day we can also get many of these fish to strike goofy style jigs, or Saltwater Assassin 4-inch sea shad tails. Now that the tripletail have make their migration into our local waters for the winter, we will be focusing on these hard fighting and tasty fish over the next few weeks. Of course the ocean conditional play a huge part in allowing us to get out to where these fish live, so Captain Justin and I will have to keep an eye on the weather and call an audible to fish in the lagoons if it is too rough to get offshore. We have quite a few available dates at this time, but these will go quickly as anglers fill in our calendar with bookings to try for these various species over the next few weeks.

Let’s go catch your next memory!
